I began my professional career as a Kindergarten Teacher in Tullahoma, Tennessee. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University. I initially planned to sell Real Estate part time, but after just two short months, I took a leap of faith and chose to move into Real Estate full time. After having my license for 5 years, my husband and I opened our own brokerage. For most of the next 18 years, I focused on training and coaching real estate agents. It was an honor to be Manchester’s number one real estate office for several years. In 2025, we chose to sell our real estate brokerage and focus on selling real estate again. A Little About Me
Hello, everyone!
My name is Kaydence Transue, and I am a Middle Tennessee Realtor who truly loves all things related to my career. So, let me introduce myself!
I am a military brat, small-town but well-traveled, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. My name might not be the typical way to spell “Cadence,” but it’s personalized through my family, which makes it even more special to me.
My military background comes from generations of soldiers who have fought for this country, so I have a deep respect for our veterans. Moving around growing up gave me a sense of cultural diversity. I’ve lived in Fairbanks, Alaska; Baltimore, Maryland; and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Even though I’ve lived in different places, I was born and raised here in Manchester, Tennessee, so I definitely still have that small-town Southern personality.
If I’m not working deals or constantly on the go, I love spending time doing the things I enjoy most. Some of my favorite hobbies include visiting roadside markets, finding unique goods and locally sourced products, collecting art and pottery, hiking, traveling, baking and cooking, gardening, and, of course, lake life!
Family is something I prioritize, along with spending time with the people who matter most to me. I think it’s important to have a strong work ethic, but I also believe in prioritizing personal time because you can’t truly be yourself without making time for the things that make you who you are.
When I travel, I love seeing new landscapes, homes, construction, cities, and scenic views. It gives me a better understanding of different people and places, and I especially love discovering new architecture.
Before real estate, I was going to college for concrete construction and project management. In high school, I was involved in engineering groups and after-school activities, which eventually earned me an internship with a local engineering firm. Through that group, I actually helped draft and build a classroom for my local high school.
Unfortunately, I quickly realized I wasn’t exactly school-savvy-or very good at sitting still. So, I faced a hard decision: What do I actually want to do?
With the help of my family, I realized that real estate was what I loved. Talking to people, touring homes, seeing new construction, being on the go -it was perfect for me. Some people say they love their job and don’t always mean it, which is understandable…but I can truthfully say I love what I do.
